The AP22D is the most versatile version of the AP22. It has the same antenna array and spatial streams (2x2:2), plus a 2.5 GbE uplink port and four 1 GbE downlink ports for wired devices. The AP22D is also able to provide PoE (Power over Ethernet) power to two of the downlink ports at 15W (PoE 802.3af) when powered by PoE Class 6 802.3bt or the optional DC power supply. This makes the AP22D ideal for IP phones or receipt printers in areas that require additional Ethernet ports and where only one Ethernet port is available in the room. The AP22D has an integrated wall mount and can be desk-mounted using the included bracket.
